BOTAS transports up to 149 million barrels of BTC oil from Ceyhan port

BOTAS International Limited (BIL), which operates the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline in Turkey, has transported 148.892 million barrels of crude oil through the Ceyhan terminal since early 2021, Report informs, referring to the company.
This amount of crude oil was loaded on 205 tankers and sent to world markets.
So far, 4,864 tankers have carried 3,719,900,000 barrels of crude oil from the port.
In 2001, BIL was authorized to operate BTC in Turkey. The first tanker loading of crude oil from BTC at the Ceyhan terminal was on June 2, 2006.
