BOTAS transports about 137M barrels of BTC oil from Ceyhan port

BOTAS International Limited (BIL), which operates the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline in Turkey, transported 136.876 million barrels of crude oil through the Ceyhan terminal this year.
This amount of crude oil was loaded on 188 tankers and sent to world markets, Report informs, referring to the company.
So far, 4,847 tankers have carried 3,707,900,000 barrels of crude oil from the port.
In 2001, BIL was authorized to operate BTC in Turkey. The first tanker loading of crude oil from BTC at the Ceyhan terminal was on June 2, 2006.
