Baku to host Azerbaijan Int'l Investment Forum in September

The Second Azerbaijan International Investment Forum (AIIF) will be held in Baku on September 25–26, 2026, Yusif Abdullayev, Executive Director of the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Agency (AZPROMO), said during an event held within the 13th Session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13), Report informs.

According to Abdullayev, Azerbaijan's approach is not limited to participation in international platforms: "Last year, we created our own global platform by organizing the first Azerbaijan International Investment Forum. This year, we plan to hold the second edition of this platform. I believe the forum is increasingly becoming a global platform that brings prestigious names to Azerbaijan. We plan to hold the event on September 25–26."

He emphasized that smart and sustainable urban management is a shared responsibility: "Governments provide vision and the necessary environment, investors bring capital and expertise, businesses offer solutions, and international platforms help unite all these actors."
