Azerishig: All substations in Karabakh and East Zangazur have solar panels on roofs

Karabakh and East Zangazur will soon become a region with zero carbon emissions, Araz Mammadzada, the Director of the Training and Innovation Center of Azerishig OJSC, told journalists, Report informs.

According to Mammadzada, currently all the substations of the company located in the liberated territories have solar panels on the roofs:

"We announced at COP29 that Karabakh and East Zangazur will be fully supplied with green energy. Currently, all our substations in this region have solar panels on the roofs. At the same time, solar panels with a capacity of about 5 kilowatts have been installed on the roof of the Aghdam Regional Digital Management Center and Training and Education Complex, which we are standing in front of. Thus, green technologies are used in almost all parts of Karabakh and East Zangazur."
