Azerbaijani gas market in focus of Russian producers

Russian manufacturer of gas compressor stations Industrial Equipment Plant plans to enter the Azerbaijani market, the head of the company's marketing department Olga Kozlova told Report on the sidelines of the Baku Energy Week.

"We produce equipment for the oil and gas industry. Our company produces various types of compressor stations, including gas compressor stations. In Russia, we supply equipment to most major suppliers. At the regional level, we work in Iran and Kazakhstan," she said.

According to her, the company doesn't operate in the Azerbaijani market but considers it quite promising.

"We are interested in cooperation. We have already discussed the issue with representatives of the State Oil Company SOCAR in the correspondence format. We hope for a personal meeting within the Baku Energy Week," Kozlova added.
