Azerbaijani Cabinet approves production sharing agreement

The Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan has approved the government's guarantees and commitments under the Production Sharing Agreement (PSA) signed between the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) and Gran Tierra Energy (Azerbaijan) GmbH, Report informs.
The agreement covers exploration, development, and production activities in areas spanning Quba, Qusar, Shabran, Siyazan, and Khizi districts.
Azerbaijani Prime Minister Ali Asadov signed the new decision in this regard.
The mentioned agreement was originally signed on February 18, 2026.
