Azerbaijan, World Bank discuss energy projects

Azerbaijan and the World Bank have exchanged views on the progress of projects implemented within the framework of energy cooperation and explored future partnership opportunities, Report informs, citing Azerbaijan's Energy Ministry.
In this context, Azerbaijani Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov met with a delegation led by Rolande Pryce, the World Bank Regional Director for the South Caucasus.
The meeting reviewed traditional and renewable energy, electric power infrastructure, energy efficiency, "green energy" corridors initiated by Azerbaijan, and other potential projects.
Discussions also covered the current experience and future potential of co-financing these projects with other international financial institutions.
