Azerbaijan triples crude oil exports to Switzerland

Azerbaijan exported 272,501.4 tons of crude oil to Switzerland in January-July 2026, Report informs, citing the State Customs Committee.

The value of the exported crude oil amounted to $193.6 million.

Compared with the same period of 2025, the volume of exports increased threefold, while their value rose 3.6 times.

Crude oil exports to Switzerland accounted for 2.1% of Azerbaijan's total crude oil exports.

According to customs declarations, Azerbaijan exported 12.72 million tons of crude oil and petroleum products obtained from bituminous minerals worth $8.03 billion during January-July.

During the reporting period, Azerbaijan conducted trade operations with foreign countries worth $29.22 billion. Exports accounted for $19.34 billion of the total foreign trade turnover, while imports amounted to $9.881 billion.
