Azerbaijan sharply increases urea export to Spain

Azerbaijan exported 104,722 tons of urea (-15%) worth $30.4 million (-64%) in January-May of this year, Report informs, citing State Statistical Committee.
In the reporting period, the country delivered 29,322 tons (+6.1 times) worth $8.1 million (+3.2 times) to Romania, 19,505 tons (+32 times) worth $5.56 million (+13.4 times) to Spain, 19,933 tons (+2.8 times) worth $5.47 million (+30%) to Ukraine, 10,145 tons (+23 times) worth $2.74 million (+23 times) to Italy, 4,886 tons worth $1.954 million to Greece (there was no supply a year ago).
Some 25.5% of the 360,000 tons of urea exported from Azerbaijan (to 17 countries) in 2022 were supplied to Bulgaria, 18.1% to Romania, and 14.6% to India.
