Azerbaijan's petroleum coke exports dwindle in early 2022

From January through February 2022, Azerbaijan exported 30,855.49 tons of petroleum coke, 2.08 times less than in January-February 2021, Report informs, citing the State Customs Committee.
According to the committee, Azerbaijan earned over $5.837 million from these exports, 5.15% more than in the same period last year.
During the reporting period, the share of petroleum coke in the country's total exports was 0.1%.
SOCAR's Heydar Aliyev Oil Refinery, as the only oil refinery in the region, provides Azerbaijan with fuel products such as RON-92, diesel, jet fuel, and raw materials to SOCAR's petrochemical plants in Azerbaijan.
