Azerbaijan's household spending on fuel rises by nearly 5%

Household spending in Azerbaijan on gasoline and diesel amounted to 2.3273 billion manats in January-July 2026, up 4.9% compared with the same period last year.
According to the State Statistics Committee, cited by Report, fuel accounted for 6.1% of total household spending on consumer goods.
Overall, retail trade turnover amounted to 38.3585 billion manats in the first seven months of the year, of which 20.8439 billion manats was spent on food, beverages and tobacco, and 17.5146 billion manats on non-food products. Real retail trade turnover increased by 3.8%.
