Azerbaijan’s crude oil exports to Portugal surge by nearly 12%

In January-July of 2025, Azerbaijan exported just over 714,269 tons of crude oil to Portugal, valued at more than $385 million, Report informs, citing Azerbaijan’s State Customs Committee.

Compared to the corresponding period in 2024, the exports grew by 11.6% in volume, while decreasing by 4.7% in value.

During this period, the share of crude oil exported to Portugal in Azerbaijan’s total oil exports was 4.94%.

According to the customs declarations, in total, Azerbaijan exported more than 14.470 million tons of crude oil and related products obtained from bituminous rocks, valued at more than $7.660 billion in the initial seven months of 2025.

In that period, Azerbaijan conducted trade transactions with foreign countries worth approximately $28.842 billion.
