Azerbaijan's crude oil exports to Portugal rose by over 55% in January

In January 2025, Azerbaijan exported 215,986.35 tons of crude oil worth $109.07 million to Portugal, Report informs, citing the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan.

The volume of crude oil exports from Azerbaijan to Portugal is 55.7% higher than the same period last year, while the value is 24.15% more.

Last year, the share of crude oil exported to Portugal in Azerbaijan's total oil exports was 6.2%.

According to customs declarations, in January, Azerbaijan exported 3.46 million tons of crude oil and oil products obtained from bituminous rocks worth $1.9 billion.

In the reporting month, Azerbaijan conducted trade operations with other countries worth $5.09 billion. Of the foreign trade turnover, $3.03 billion was accounted for by exports, and $2.05 billion was accounted for by imports.
