Azerbaijan produces 29.6 bcm of natural gas

Azerbaijan produced 29.57 billion cubic meters of natural gas in January-July 2026, according to the State Statistical Committee, cited by Report.

Of the total, 22.78 billion cubic meters was commercial natural gas.

Natural gas production increased by 1.1% year-on-year during the reporting period, while commercial gas production rose by 1%.

Azerbaijan also produced 15.54 million tons of crude oil, including gas condensate, in the first seven months of the year. Commercial crude oil accounted for 15.5 million tons.

Compared with January-July 2025, both total crude oil production and commercial crude oil production decreased by 3.1% during the reporting period.
