Azerbaijan posts over 10% increase in commercial gas output

From January through February 2021, Azerbaijan produced over 5.82 million tons of crude oil, including gas condensate.
Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee, that over 5.81 million tons of this volume fell on marketable crude oil.
In the reporting period, the total oil output and the production of marketable oil both dropped by 4.9%.
In the first two months of this year, Azerbaijan produced over 6.83 billion cubic meters of natural gas. Slightly over 5.1 billion cubic meters of this volume was commercial natural gas. From January through February 2021, natural gas production rose by 3% in annual terms, while commercial gas output went up by 9.6%.
