Azerbaijan oil output seen at 550,000 bpd in 2026 — EIA

The US Energy Information Administration (EIA) has kept its forecast for Azerbaijan's average daily oil production in 2026 unchanged.

According to Report, the estimate was included in the EIA's September Short-Term Energy Outlook.

The agency expects Azerbaijan's oil production to average 550,000 barrels per day (bpd) this year, unchanged from its August forecast.

Production is expected to average 540,000 bpd in both the third and fourth quarters of 2026, also unchanged from last month's estimates.

For comparison, Azerbaijan's oil production averaged 570,000 bpd in the first and second quarters of 2025 and 560,000 bpd in the third and fourth quarters.

According to the EIA, Azerbaijan's total liquid hydrocarbon production averaged 570,000 bpd in 2025.
