Azerbaijan mulls work on Ustyurt investment blocks with Uzbekistan

Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan have discussed works on the Ustyurt investment blocks, Report informs referring to the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR).

The discussions took place during a meeting between SOCAR President Rovshan Najaf, Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade of Uzbekistan Laziz Kudratov, and the country's Minister of Energy Sherzod Khodjaev.

The sides noted the development of economic ties between the two countries, especially in the energy sector.

The project for the construction of new gas filling stations under the SOCAR brand in Uzbekistan was also considered.

During the conversation, an exchange of views took place on issues of expanding cooperation between SOCAR and Uzbek companies, implementing joint investment projects, and other matters of mutual interest.
