Azerbaijan, Ireland mull energy partnership

Azerbaijan and Ireland discussed cooperation in the energy sector, Azerbaijani Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov wrote on X, Report informs.
"We exchanged views on the development of cooperation in the energy sector with the delegation led by Tony McCormack, Head of the Ireland-Azerbaijan Interparliamentary Friendship Group. We assessed collaboration opportunities in the production and transmission of liquefied natural gas (LNG) and renewable energy. Last year, Azerbaijan supplied Ireland with 532,000 tons of crude oil," Shahbazov wrote.
