Azerbaijan increases oil exports to Portugal by nearly 65%

In January-May 2025, Azerbaijan exported 576,035 tons of crude oil to Portugal for $310.369 million, Report informs, citing the Azerbaijani State Customs Committee.

Compared to the first five months of 2024, the volume of exported product soared by 64.6%, while its value increased by 37.7%.

In January-May 2025, the share of crude oil exported to Portugal in total oil exports of Azerbaijan was 5.6%.

According to customs declarations, in January-May 2025, Azerbaijan exported 10.363 million tons of crude oil and oil products obtained from bituminous rocks worth $5.64 billion.

During the reporting period, Azerbaijan conducted trade operations worth $20.966 billion with other countries. Of the foreign trade turnover, $11 billion accounted for exports, while $9.96 billion accounted for imports.
