Azerbaijan increases oil exports to India by 46%

In the first eight months of 2022, Azerbaijan exported 1,599,696.16 tons of crude oil worth $1,341,651,250 to India.

Report informs, citing the State Customs Committee, that these figures are 46.2 times and 2.8 times higher than in the same period of 2021.

The share of crude oil exported from Azerbaijan to India in total exports was 8.9%.

Azerbaijan exported 17,983,700.5 tons of crude oil and crude oil products obtained from bituminous rocks worth $13,724,349,000 in January-August 2022, respectively, down 4.2% and up 61.5% from the previous year.

In January-August of this year, Azerbaijan conducted trade transactions with foreign countries worth $35.113 billion.

The export operations accounted for $26.245 billion, and imports for $ 8.868 billion.
