Azerbaijan increases its profits from oil sales to Tunisia

In January-September 2024, Azerbaijan exported 381,622.34 tons of crude oil to Tunisia, which is $243.14 million more year-on-year, Report informs, citing the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan.

During the first nine months of 2024, the volume of products exported from Azerbaijan to Tunisia increased 9.2 times, and the value increased 10.3 times compared to the same period in 2023.

The share of crude oil exported to Tunisia in Azerbaijan's total oil exports was 2.17%.

In January-September 2024, according to customs declarations, Azerbaijan exported 17.608 million tons of crude oil and oil products obtained from bituminous rocks, worth $11.008 billion.

During the reporting period, Azerbaijan conducted trade operations worth $34.498 billion with other countries. Over $19.85 billion of the trade turnover accounted for exports, while $14.643 billion accounted for imports. Over the past year, exports decreased by 25%, while imports increased by 16%.
