Azerbaijan, EU discuss strategic areas of energy partnership

The strategic areas of the energy partnership between Azerbaijan and the European Union (EU) have been discussed, Energy Minister of Azerbaijan Parviz Shahbazov said on X, Report informs.

Shahbazov met with Cristina Lobillo Borrero, Director for Energy Platform and International Relations at the European Commission's Directorate-General for Energy.

The meeting reviewed the role of the Southern Gas Corridor in Europe's energy security, the Caspian-Black Sea-Europe Green Energy Corridor, and cooperation on regional electricity connections.

"We emphasized the importance of reliable supply, diversification of energy routes and green energy integration," Shahbazov said.
