Azerbaijan doubles oil exports to Croatia

In January-June 2024, Azerbaijan exported 587,571 tons of crude oil worth $375.98 million to Croatia, an increase of 90.43% times in volume and 2.1 times in value from the corresponding period of 2023, Report informs, citing the Azerbaijani State Customs Committee.

The share of crude oil exported to Croatia in the total oil exports of Azerbaijan was 5.3%.

Overall, Azerbaijan exported 11.1 million tons of crude oil and crude oil products obtained from bituminous rocks worth $7.01 billion in the first six months of this year.

During the reporting period, Azerbaijan conducted trade transactions with foreign countries worth over $21.77 billion.

Export operations accounted for nearly $12.9 billion, and imports for nearly $8.87 billion. Over the past year, exports decreased by 28.2%, while imports increased by 8.2%.
