Azerbaijan doubles earnings from oil product exports

In January-August 2026, Azerbaijan exported 617,360 tons of oil products, valued at more than $466.7 million, Report informs, citing the country's State Customs Committee.

According to customs declarations, the exports grew by 40.7% in volume and rose by 2 times in value compared to the corresponding period in 2025.

During the reporting months, oil products accounted for 2.14% of Azerbaijan's total exports.

Overall, in the first eight months of 2026, Azerbaijan conducted foreign trade operations worth $33.238 billion. Of this, $21.815 billion came from exports and $11.423 billion from imports. Year-on-year, exports rose by 27.8%, while imports fell by 24.1%.
