Azerbaijan discloses volume and value of oil exports to Serbia

In January-September 2024, Azerbaijan exported 241,179.61 tons of crude oil worth $151.9 million to Serbia, Report informs, ciitng the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan.

Azerbaijan began exporting crude oil to Serbia in April of this year. In that month, for the first time, 31,558.85 tons of oil worth $17.52 million were supplied from Azerbaijan to Serbia.

According to customs declarations, in January-September 2024, Azerbaijan exported 17.61 million tons of crude oil and oil products obtained from bituminous rocks worth just over $11 billion.

During the reporting period, Azerbaijan conducted trade operations worth about $34.5 billion with foreign countries. Nearly $19.86 billion of the trade turnover accounted for exports, while $14.64 billion accounted for imports. Over the past year, exports decreased by 25%, while imports increased by 16%.
