Azerbaijan details 10-month oil exports to Spain

Azerbaijan exported over 250,395 tons of crude oil to Spain, valued at just under $143 million in the first 10 months of 2024, Report informs, citing the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan.

Compared to the corresponding period in 2023, the exports plummeted by 4.4 times in volume and by 4.9 times in value.

The share of crude oil exported to Spain in Azerbaijan’s total oil exports for the reporting period was 1.22%.

Overall, Azerbaijan exported almost 20.572 million tons of crude oil and related products obtained from bituminous rocks, valued at more than $12.762 billion in January-October of 2024.

In the specified period, Azerbaijan conducted trade transactions with foreign countries worth more than $39.378 billion. Of that, $22.742 billion accounted for exports and over $16.636 billion fell to imports.
