Azerbaijan boosts oil exports to France

Azerbaijan exported 89,712.83 tons of crude oil worth over $57 million to France in the first two months of this year, Report informs, citing the State Customs Committee.

This is an increase of 8.03 percent in volume and 8.41 percent in value compared to the corresponding period of 2023.

In general, the share of crude oil exported to France in the total oil exports of Azerbaijan was 1.96 percent.

During the reporting period, Azerbaijan exported a total of 4,595,490.11 tons of crude oil and crude oil products obtained from bituminous rocks, valued at $2,826,058,640.

In January-February of 2024, Azerbaijan conducted trade transactions worth $7.227 billion with foreign countries.

The export operations accounted for $4.780 billion, and imports were responsible for $2.447 billion.
