Azerbaijan allocates land in Hajigabul for 160 MW solar plant

The Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan has adopted a decision designating a state-owned land plot in Hajigabul district as a renewable energy site for a planned solar power plant.
Report informs that Prime Minister Ali Asadov has signed a new order in this regard.
Under the decision, 321 hectares of state-owned agricultural land in Hajigabul district have been allocated for the construction of a 160 MW solar power plant.
Oversight of the implementation of the decision has been assigned to the Agrarian and Ecology Department of the Cabinet of Ministers' Office.
