Azerbaijan, ADB mull preparation of feasibility study for green energy project

Azerbaijan and the Asian Development Bank (ADB) have discussed the preparation of a feasibility study for the project that envisages the development and transfer of green energy between Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan, Report informs.

The discussions were held by Javid Abdullayev, director of the Azerbaijan Renewable Energy Agency, Joonho Hwang, the director at Energy Sector Office, responsible for the East, Central, and West Asia regions of the Asian Development Bank (ADB), and Cindy Cisneros-Tiangco, director for Emerging Areas at ADB's Energy Sector Office, at the Asia Clean Energy Forum in Manila.

The parties also discussed energy projects being implemented in Azerbaijan with the bank's support, prospects for further cooperation in the energy sector, and upcoming stages of joint work.
