ADNOC's XRG aims to expand presence in Central Asia, Caspian basin

XRG, the global investment arm of the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC, UAE), aims to consistently expand its presence in the countries of Central Asia and the Caspian basin by actively exploring promising areas for development, Report informs.
Bassem Tadros, Senior Vice President of Asset Management at XRG, made the remark at the Second Azerbaijan International Investment Forum (AIIF 2026).
"We hold certain positions in Azerbaijan, which we intend to strengthen and develop. Furthermore, our activities extend to the opposite shore of the Caspian Sea - to Turkmenistan, where we are collaborating with partners from the Turkmen government, as well as the state concerns Turkmengas and Turkmennebit," Tadros stated.
He noted that systematic expansion in regional markets remains one of the company's key strategic priorities.
"We never stop searching for new prospects and consistently implement a strategy of dynamic growth in the states of the region, whether it is Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, or other Central Asian countries," the senior vice president emphasized.
