17% of LPG production in Türkiye provided at expense of SOCAR's oil refinery

In July of this year, the STAR refinery, an asset of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) in Türkiye, produced more than 15,557 tons (-3,779 tons or 19.5%) of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), Report informs, citing the Turkish Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EMRA).
STAR refinery was responsible for 17.02% of LPG production in Türkiye. In total, nearly 91,403 tons of LPG were produced by oil refineries in Türkiye in July 2023, which 9,291 tons or 9.2% less than in July 2022.
