Emin Amrullayev: Improper use of AI leads to degradation of children

Today children are using artificial intelligence in an inappropriate way, which makes them lazier and leads to degradation, Azerbaijan's Minister of Science and Education Emin Amrullayev said during the presentation of the research report "Legal Thinking of Adolescents in Azerbaijan" and the book "Children and Law".

Report quotes him as saying in many cases children use artificial intelligence not to understand solutions but to obtain ready-made answers.

"In many cases, children turn to artificial intelligence not for an explanation of the solution, but for the final answer. For example, when solving a math problem, instead of asking 'explain the solution', they ask for the answer. This is very dangerous for their future and poses a risk to the development of the child's brain," Amrullayev said.
