BP supports creation of new laboratories and workshops in Nakhchivan

BP has begun supplying equipment for new laboratories and workshops to be established in educational institutions across Nakhchivan as part of its cooperation with the region.

According to Report's Nakhchivan bureau, the initiative is being implemented under an agreement signed on April 10 between the Ministry of Education of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic and BP.

Under the agreement, two vocational training workshops will be established at the Nakhchivan State Vocational Education Center. In addition, modern chemistry laboratories will be created at the Heydar Aliyev Secondary School and the Nakhchivan Girls' Lyceum.

Installation of the equipment is scheduled to begin in the coming days. The subject-specific laboratories are expected to be completed by the end of the academic year, while the two workshops at the vocational education center are planned to be finished by September.

The agreement also includes professional development training for 30 English-language teachers and support for gifted students preparing for local and international academic Olympiads.
