Azerbaijan to acquire new seismic stations in 2021

Within the frame of the program “Expansion of the Seismic Network in the Caucasus and Central Asia,” 22 new seismic stations will be set up in Azerbaijan with the aid of Science and Technology Center of Ukraine, Report informs, referring to videoconference held between partner countries on the execution of the project.
Due to the pandemic situation, the stations will most probably be delivered to Azerbaijan in late January 2021. During the online meeting, it was decided to select available installation sites for stations and carry out initial tests considering the technical parameters of appliances.
