155 Azerbaijanis granted opportunity to study at TOP-10 universities worldwide

Under the State Program for 2022–2028, 155 Azerbaijani students will study at ten of the world"s top universities in the upcoming academic year, Deputy Minister of Science and Education Hasan Hasanli told journalists, as quoted by Report.

"Admission to these programs demonstrates the high level of preparation of Azerbaijani youth, achieved through the development of the general and higher education system. Thanks to this, they are able to continue their education abroad without any difficulties. International olympiad winners and graduates of lyceums, in particular, have built a positive image abroad," Hasanli said.

The deputy minister noted that, overall, more than 2,000 young people have received the right to study at leading universities around the world under the state program.

"This is, above all, a manifestation of the state"s trust in young people, as well as an indicator that Azerbaijani youth has great potential. I am confident that, after returning to the country, they will make an important contribution to the development of Azerbaijan," he added.
