Sa'ar invites Azerbaijan's minister of economy to Israel

Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar invited Azerbaijani Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov to visit Israel.

According to Report, Sa'ar made the announcement during the Azerbaijan-Israel Business Forum in Baku.

The Israeli foreign minister also encouraged his compatriots to visit Azerbaijan, highlighting the positive trend in tourism between the two countries.

He noted that in 2025, 60,000 Israeli tourists visited Azerbaijan, representing a significant increase.

"We are capable of substantially increasing this flow. I urge more Israeli citizens to come to Azerbaijan-a beautiful and safe country for Jews and Israelis," he said.

Sa'ar also highlighted that trade between the two countries grew by roughly 50% in 2025, surpassing $360 million. "I am confident that these figures will be even higher in 2026," he added.
