Azerbaijan's territories, once under occupation, are now poised to become a hub for ecological projects, Mirsalam Ganbarov, Chairman of the Board of the State Agency for Environmental Expertise, said.
According to Report, speaking to journalists, Ganbarov highlighted that the sparse population in these areas presents a unique opportunity to implement eco-friendly initiatives with greater ease. "While green spaces account for just 25 percent of Baku's territory, the liberated lands already boast over 50 percent green cover," he noted.
