Azerbaijan to allocate AZN 285M for environmental protection next year

Azerbaijan’s budget envisages 285.828 million manats for environmental protection next year, Report informs referring to the draft state budget for 2022.
Of these funds, 7.743 million manats will be allocated for the protection of biodiversity, 10.966 million manats for hydrometeorological measures, 15.467 million manats for forestry, 1.443 million manats for fishing and hunting, 248.992 million manats will be spent on cleaning up territories, as well as for the collection and treatment of wastewater, and 1.215 million manats for environmental protection.
