Azerbaijan reveals its goals regarding fight against climate change

Azerbaijan contributes to the global fight against climate change, said Niyazi Safarov, adviser to the Minister of Economy, Report informs.

"In order to ensure the water security of Azerbaijan, the target is to reduce dependence on transboundary waters, including build reservoirs on internal rivers, expand the use of alternative waters, prepare a mechanism for efficient use of irrigation water until 2025 in the medium term and until 2030 in the long-term due to climate changes," he noted.
