UNESCO, designed to protect the world's tangible and intangible heritage, has become a foreign policy instrument of the Elysee Palace, the Chairman of the Board of the Center for Social Research (CSR) Zahid Oruj said at the presentation of the book “Return to Western Azerbaijan: Our Tangible Cultural Heritage on Historical Lands,” Report informs.
“Earlier, French Minister of Culture Rima Abdul Malak said that she allegedly saw 5,200 objects of material and cultural heritage of Armenians on satellite images of the Karabakh region,” Zahid Oruj said.
“It is obvious that attempts of foreign intervention in Azerbaijan continue under the pretext of protecting the Christian heritage,” he said.
