WUF13 Urban Expo Zone in Baku spans 3.5 hectares

The Urban Expo Zone created for WUF13 in Baku covers an area of 3.5 hectares.

According to Report, President Ilham Aliyev was informed about the project while reviewing preparations for WUF13 at the Baku Olympic Stadium.

Officials stated that the area features exhibition spaces for national pavilions, international organizations, government agencies, local authorities, the private sector, NGOs, foundations, and academic institutions. In total, 121 pavilions have been established, including 41 national pavilions.

The 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) will take place in Baku on May 17–22.

The forum is being organized within the framework of Azerbaijan's cooperation with UN-Habitat and is aimed at promoting international exchange of experience in sustainable urban planning, smart cities, and innovative urban solutions.
