Western Azerbaijan Community sends 120 letters to int'l organizations

To date, the Western Azerbaijan Community has addressed a total of 120 letters to various international organizations and their leaders, Chairman of the Community and Member of Azerbaijani Parliament Aziz Alakbarli said at the international scientific conference titled Return to Western Azerbaijan: As a New Stage of the National Idea, Report informs.

According to him, 11 documents of the Community have been circulated among all countries as official documents of the UN Security Council, General Assembly, and Economic and Social Council.

"In total, 345 statements have been issued by the Community regarding Armenia's and international organizations' biased reports and resolutions that distort the truth. The Community representatives have held 78 meetings with foreign delegations visiting Azerbaijan and with influential foreign diplomats working in the country. The Asian Parliamentary Assembly, the Parliamentary Network of the Non-Aligned Movement, Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic States (TURKPA), and the Council of Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation have adopted resolutions on the Western Azerbaijan issue and supported our Community's right of return."
