Vilayat Eyvazov: Azerbaijan's internal troops can fulfill any mission

Azerbaijan's Internal Troops are capable of successfully and honorably carrying out any assigned service or combat mission, Interior Minister Colonel-General Vilayat Eyvazov stated during the graduation ceremony of the Military Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) Internal Troops for the 2025–2026 academic year, Report informs.

The minister highlighted that strengthening the combat readiness of the Internal Troops – one of the main structural units of the MIA – ensuring their supply with modern weapons and equipment, and enhancing the social protection of personnel are always under the direct supervision of President Ilham Aliyev, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces.

Eyvazov highlighted the significant role of the Turkish Armed Forces, particularly the Gendarmerie General Command, in shaping the professional cadre base of the Internal Troops and in achieving high results in personnel training.

He also presented diplomas to graduates of the Military Institute who completed their studies with distinction and received the rank of "First Lieutenant."
