State Committee calls on ministry to take action against perpetrators of violence

Today's biggest problem is a failure in dealing with perpetrators of violence, Deputy Chairperson of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs Sadagat Gahramanova said at training on "Domestic Violence in the Media."

"Those people need support because they have psychological problems. The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection should deal with the matter," she added.

The deputy chairperson said that civil divorce forms should be instilled into society: "Some men refuse to pay alimony to a child after divorce. The media must find these people, interview them, and instill the right ideas in them."
