Special representative: Large-scale reconstruction continues in Eastern Zangazur

Reconstruction is not only about physical restoration, but also about building sustainable communities and ensuring the return of people to their homeland in safe and transparent conditions.

Report informs that Masim Mammadov, Special Representative of the President of Azerbaijan in Lachin district, said this as part of WUF13 in Baku.

He noted that the modern world puts key issues such as urban planning, sustainable urbanization, environmental problems, inclusive governance and citizen participation on the agenda.

"Large-scale reconstruction is underway in Eastern Zangazur. New residential areas are being built, while engineering infrastructure, roads, hospitals, parks and educational institutions are being restored. But most importantly, people themselves are at the center of this process," he said.

The special representative emphasized that the tourism, agriculture, hospitality and entrepreneurship sectors are creating new opportunities for the population.
