Special Rep: Construction of 3 more residential complexes begins in Shusha

Construction has begun on three additional residential complexes in Shusha, Aydin Karimov, Special Representative of the President of Azerbaijan in the Shusha district, said during the event themed Post-Conflict Urban Planning: Restoring Destroyed Identity and Rebuilding an Integrated Future held at the Azerbaijan Pavilion within the 13th Session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13), Report informs.

Karimov noted that restoration and construction works are being carried out in line with Shusha's Master Plan: "Today, nearly 1,400 former internally displaced persons (IDPs) live in Shusha. This figure covers the period from May 2024 to the present. Construction has started on three more residential complexes, which will consist of a total of 43 buildings."
