Simultaneous interpretation to be provided in 8 languages at WUF13

Simultaneous interpretation in eight languages will be provided during WUF13 events in Baku.

Report informs that President Ilham Aliyev was briefed on this while reviewing preparations for WUF13 on the territory of the Baku Olympic Stadium.

It was noted that simultaneous interpretation will be provided in the UN's six official languages - Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian and Spanish - as well as Azerbaijani and Turkish.

International sign language service will also be available for persons with disabilities.

WUF13 will be held in Baku on May 17-22. The forum is organized as part of Azerbaijan"s close cooperation with the UN Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat) and is aimed at exchanging international experience in sustainable urban development, smart cities and innovative urban solutions.
