Samir Nuriyev: President laid foundations for 159 projects, inaugurated 133 infrastructure facilities

Over the past five years, President Ilham Aliyev has participated in more than 500 events across the country's liberated territories, laying the foundations for 159 diverse projects and inaugurating 133 major infrastructure facilities, Samir Nuriyev, Head of the Presidential Administration and the Coordination Headquarters for Centralized Resolution of Issues in the Liberated Territories, during a meeting of the headquarters held in Aghdam.

According to Report, Nuriyev highlighted the rapid revival and development of all liberated regions, including the Aghdam district, emphasizing that with the personal attention of the President, the rebuilding of destroyed infrastructure is well underway. Entire villages and cities are being reconstructed from the ground up, bringing new life to these once-devastated areas.

He also stressed the substantial progress made in implementing the Great Return program, which aims to ensure sustainable resettlement. To date, former internally displaced persons (IDPs) have returned to 14 settlements across the liberated territories. More than 43,000 people currently live and work in these regions, including public and private sector employees, students, and schoolchildren.
