Rizvan Nabiyev: Issue of Western Azerbaijanis' return already advancing in legal sphere

The issue of the return of Western Azerbaijanis to their historical lands is already progressing within the legal framework and is being reflected in documents circulated and adopted at international platforms, member of Milli Majlis Rizvan Nabiyev told journalists on the sidelines of the event "Return to Western Azerbaijan: Restoration of Historical Justice and Human Rights."

Report quotes him as saying the issue of the return of Western Azerbaijanis to their historical lands had long been discussed primarily from a humanitarian perspective.

"Numerous documents have already been circulated within the UN Security Council and the UN General Assembly, while relevant documents have also been adopted through parliamentary diplomacy, the Non-Aligned Movement, and other international organizations," the MP said.
