Rauf Abdullayev awarded Order of Labor

Rauf Janbakhish oglu Abdullayev has been awarded the 1st Class Order of Labor for his great services in the development of Azerbaijani musical culture.
Report informs that President Ilham Aliyev has signed an order in this regard.
Abdullayev was born on October 29, 1937, in Baku. He graduated from the faculty of conducting of Hajibayov Azerbaijan State Conservatoire (1959) and Leningrad State Conservatory (1965).
The chief conductor turns 85 years old tomorrow.
